Mexican Inspired Bathroom

This master bathroom renovation began with a major tear out.  With the double access doors limiting the layout, Jim Pepe found a great way to reinvent the bathroom.  The removal began with a massive in-closed whirl-pool tub/shower where the new glass shower and double vanity are now located.  The old double vanity was located where the copper slipper tub now sits.  The newly renovated bathroom finally has the open feel it always lacked.  The tumbled marble and talavera tile floor has radiant heating, the copper slipper tub is hand hammered with exposed pipe tub filler and wall nook, the walk in shower has a large rain-head with exposed pipe, the cabinets were custom designed and finished to match the Mexican talavera tiles and finished off with hand-painted Mexican sinks and a granite counter top, the walls were finished with a textured plaster to mimic adobe walls, and new hardwood doors were installed throughout the home.

Over the years Pepe-Sherman Assoc. has worked on a single home in the woods of Trooper, PA.  Some of the work has included additions and renovations.  The master bathroom has slate floor tile, travertine shower walls, double-head walk-in shower, privacy toilet stall, and clawfoot tub centered in front of floor to ceiling windows.  A guest bathroom was also added to the home with brick flooring and stone walls.
