Pepe-Sherman Assoc. Inc. got called back into a development to repair a poorly constructed and designed portico by a developer in the early 2000’s, unfortunately this happens too often with large developments. Jim Pepe and his crew came in to remove all of the rot (the whole structure), replace the ceiling with wood bead-board, replaced the portico roof and replace the round smooth columns with a more decorative square column. Below you can see the images from start to finish.
Pepe-Sherman Assoc. Inc. has worked on many old homes included this stunning brick home. The owners decided to hire Pepe-Sherman to build their 2-story addition keeping their home as true to its original beauty as possible. They decided to finish their addition off with stucco and brick accents on the corners.
The Price Homestead was built in 1719 and has been restored by Pepe-Sherman Associates over many years. The basement in the home was the original location of the kitchen. Pepe-Sherman used traditional and innovative ways to restore the space with. Custom shutters were built for the original walk-in fireplace that was once closed in with cinder blocks. Radiant heating was installed under the brick flooring, custom trim work, handmade tongue and groove paneling, custom door with antique glass, straw and plaster ceilings, custom staircase, and exposed original beam work.
